THE CONCOURS CLUB SPOTLIGHT

The Concours Club kicked off 2023 by hosting its second annual Flat Six Fest where the storied Porsche culture was celebrated and highlighted by a varied selection of models ranging from elegant 356s to fully prepped 911 racing cars. Participants had the opportunity to both display their cars and untap their potential on the course. Art displays by distinguished artists Manu Campa, Johans Lamic from The Whale Tail Project, and Rafael Delceggio were also featured, accompanied by an exquisite German-themed food and drink selection from The Club's culinary team.


Alois and Estonia Ruf were in attendance to witness the recreation of Pfaffenhausen, the town where their boutique Porsche-based manufacturer RUF Automobile was born, serving as the perfect backdrop to celebrate the announcement of RUF's North American Headquarters, which will be based out of The Concours Club.

EVENTS AT THE CONCOURS CLUB

The benefits of membership at The Concours Club extend far beyond the gates. Members enjoy access to exclusive experiences on and off the circuit. Below is a glimpse of some events from the last three months. We look forward to more exciting experiences this season.

TOUR DE ESPAÑA

Early in October, Members enjoyed an unforgettable adventure at Verge, where they experienced the unique flavors of Spain’s diverse culinary traditions. The evening was highlighted by Chef Brad Kilgore’s interpretation of classic and modern Spanish cuisine, which was inspired by his two-week tour of Spain’s Ribera del Duero region. The wine selection by Master Sommelier Dan Pilkey featured some of Spain’s most coveted estates and vintages, including the 100-point rated Pingus 2012. 

THE ULTIMATE CHICAGOSTEAKHOUSE

After years of success in South Florida, Chef Kilgore took Members of The Concours Club and their guests back to his culinary roots. During the “Ultimate Chicago Steakhouse”, attendees experienced Chef Kilgore's unique take on one of America’s most historic dining scenes. Master Sommelier Dan Pilkey took attendees on a journey of his own, with a special walk-around tasting experience that featured three distinct stations, each with a selection of the finest wines the American estates have to offer.

THE ART OF CHAMPIONS 

During Miami Art Week, The Concours Club hosted “The Art of Champions”, featuring a fine art exposition by renowned motorsport artist Paul Oz. The artwork was accompanied by a unique selection of historic racing cars, including Ayrton Senna’s race-winning 1985 Lotus 97T. The Concours Club's events team recreated the iconic photo of Senna sitting next to the car in Estoril 1985. The night was highlighted by the unveiling of a new, specially commissioned Paul Oz artwork celebrating

ROBB REPORTCAR OF THE YEAR

This past December, The Concours Club hosted Robb Report and celebrated their 20th Anniversary "Car of the Year". Members of the Club had an exclusive day stepping into the shoes of a Robb Report automotive journalist and driving the 11 contenders with the Bentley Continental GT taking top honors. The day was comprised of various dynamic exercises, followed by an afternoon of dining and judging. Check out the February issues of Robb Report for full details. DAYTONA 24 HOURSSNEAK PEEK

In the days leading up to the 2023 Rolex 24 at Daytona, The Concours Club's Members had the unique opportunity to witness numerous teams performing their pre-race shakedowns, including the brand new hybrid GTP prototypes. Meyer Shank Racing attended with the new Acura ARX-06 and Chip Ganassi Racing brought their Cadillac V-LMDh. At the end of the day, Tom Blomqvist broke the circuit record by more than two seconds aboard the hybrid Acura. Ferrari team AF Corse was also present to test their new 296 GT3, which competed in the GT Daytona Class.


Meyer Shank Racing Acura went on to win their second straight Daytona 24 Hour, with Founding Member Hélio Castroneves becoming the first driver in history to be crowned a winner at Daytona three years in a row. Congratulations, Hélio!

ASTON MARTINDRIVING EXPERIENCE

Late in January, The Concours Club welcomed Aston Martin. Members and guests enjoyed a driving experience on the circuit aboard the Vantage F1 Edition and the DBX 707. The four-day event included bespoke food and beverage from Verge, and hot laps with some of their most experienced racing drivers.

THE PALM BEACHCAVALLINO CLASSIC

To kick off this year's Cavallino Classic, The Concours Club hosted participants for an open circuit day where they had the chance to experience the performance of both their modern and historic Ferraris. The gathering continued at The Breakers in Palm Beach, where The Concours Club hosted Members in a private VIP lounge on the red carpet, set against the backdrop of iconic Ferraris from every era of the marque's decorated history.


The 2023 Cavallino Classic also celebrated the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The event featured some significant machines that competed in the legendary race throughout the decades, including a Ferrari 340 America and a 512M that made an appearance at The Concours Club for the opening circuit day.


Congratulations to the owners of the 1956 Ferrari 410 Superamerica s/n 0483, 1953 250 MM Berlinetta s/n 0258, and 1971 512 M s/n 1020 for winning Best of Show prizes in their respective categories.

EVENT CAMPUS AT THE CONCOURS CLUB

As the Auto Lofts near completion, the next phase of development has begun at The Concours Club. The Event Campus has officially broken ground and its formation is progressing rapidly. Coastal Construction is managing the buildout where the structure’s first beam has been officially raised.

 

The Event Campus at The Concours Club will be the first and only motorsport-based event campus located within minutes of a major metro area. Conceived by the legendary Italian design house Pininfarina, the campus will feature multiple unique elements to facilitate all types of events. The event campus will be bifurcated from TCC's exclusive member-only areas and feature its own separate entrance, paddock, and pit lane.

COUNTDOWN TO THEF1 MIAMI GRAND PRIX

The countdown to the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix has begun, where members and their guests will have the opportunity to experience the race weekend in The Club's private hospitality area. The space will feature an improved layout, unique food and beverage from Verge, displays by renowned artists, and music entertainment, all with an extraordinary circuit-side view.

Late in October, Canadian airplane manufacturer Bombardier opened a new North American service center on the grounds of Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport. The new facility has over 300,000 square feet of maintenance space, and is expected to create over 300 aerospace jobs.


It was a pleasure to collaborate with Bombardier on their opening event, surprising guests with a very special selection of vehicles from The Concours Club, which included the 2019 Ferrari Challenge North America Championship Winning 488 Challenge.

MEMBERS IN COMPETITION

FERRARI CHALLENGEFINALI MONDIALI 2022

Following the conclusion of the North American season at Sonoma, Ferrari Challenge drivers from all over the world gathered at the historic Imola circuit in Italy for the annual "Finali Mondiali". The four-day event not only featured exhilarating Challenge racing, but also celebrated all things Ferrari with demonstrations headlined by historic and significant racing cars. The event also featured the exclusive circuit launch of Ferrari's new 499P. The LMDh prototype is set to challenge for the overall victory 

at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023.


Congratulations to Custodio Toledo for winning Race 1 in the North American Pirelli - AM class, and to Dylan Medler and Tony Davis for winning Race 2 in the Pirelli - AM  and Coppa Shell - AM classes, respectively. Most of all, a huge congratulations to Dave Musial 2.0 and Tony Davis for winning the North American Championship in Trofeo Pirelli-AM and Coppa Shell-AM!

This past October, SRO Motorsports Group wrapped up its season at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with Club Members participating in multiple classes throughout the event and having some incredible success. In the Fanatec GT World Challenge America Championship, Michael Dinan drove to P3 in the Pro class. In Pirelli GT4 America, teammates Custodio Toledo and Paulo Carcasci fought their way to an amazing second place in race 1 within the AM class. Moisey Uretsky also stood on the podium in the Pro-AM class.

The 2023 Rolex 24 was not only the second win in a row for Meyer Shank Racing Acura, but also Founding Member Hélio Castroneves' third win in a row at Daytona. He is now the only driver in history to achieved such a feat.

HSR SEBRING CLASSIC

Early in December, The Concours Club was proudly represented at the HSR Sebring Classic by our very own Club President Aaron Weiss, who competed in both the Classic 12 in his Golf Blue 1966 short wheelbase Porsche 911, and won the GTM Endurance race aboard his Praga R1T.

BABY BULL RACING

Best of luck to Club Members Moisey and Lev Uretsky as they kick off the 2023 racing season with their team, Baby Bull Racing.  The squad will undertake campaigns in IMSA GS and GSX, Porsche Carrera Cup, and the SRO GR Cup!


Moisey had a positive start to the season in Daytona, achieving a top 10 finish in the Michelin Pilot Challenge and fighting his way back to second place in the VP Racing Sportscar Challenge.

INTERNATIONAL GT

Congratulations to  Member Rodrigo Azpurua for clinching P3 at Daytona International Speedway aboard the #91 Porsche Cayman GT4 CS!


In only his first season in International GT, Rodrigo has performed incredibly well, clinching multiple podium positions. We can't wait to see him reach the top step!

THE CONCOURS CLUB ANDTHE SEED SCHOOL OF MIAMI

In December, The Concours Club  once again partnered with The SEED School of Miami. The Club donated eight brand new bicycles to the school, providing the students with a new and fun way to get around the community!

Last month, The Concours Club welcomed Andrew and Teschon for a week-long internship program. The SEED students participated in multiple dynamic activities within every department, ranging from accounting and marketing, to events and motorsports.

ABOUT THE SEED SCHOOL OF MIAMI

The SEED School of Miami is comprised of students who come from families below the 200% poverty level, and has made it its mission to set them on a path to graduation. Last year, every SEED School graduate went on to enroll in collegiate programs across the country.

The Concours Club offers a wide range of vehicle storage options, from secured individual spaces to fully finished Auto Loft garages. Designed by DMAC Architecture, the Auto Lofts will offer another dimension of privacy, providing members with a space to store – and admire – their collection and entertain guests just steps from the action.


When will the storage and Auto Lofts be available?

The automotive storage, secured individual spaces, are currently available for members. The Auto Lofts construction completion date is estimated by Q1 of 2023.
